This warranty is issued by Fairlington Window and Door and is only valid when accompanied by a contract that has been signed by a authorized representative of Fairlington Window and Door.
This warranty period will commence on the date that the contract between (Purchaser) and Fairlington Window and Door is/was signed and accepted by the (purchaser)
The length of this warranty may vary depending on trade. The length of the warranty coverage will be detailed on the (Contract).
This warranty is only transferable if noted in writing and signed by a authorized representative of Fairlington Window and Door.
Please print a copy of this warranty, attach it to your contract and keep it for your records.
The definition of the the terms used in this warranty are as follows:
Fwd is defined as Fairlington window and Door LLC.
Purchaser is defined as the person who signed the contract for services that must accompany this warranty.
Contract is defined as the service contract agreed on between FWD and the Purchaser. Information on the contract will be used as though it and the warranty our the same document.
Warranty Details
Fairlington Window and Door ("FWD") hereby guarantees (Purchaser) that the construction project performed on (Contract Property) located at (Contract Address) to be free from defects in workmanship for a period of (Contract Term) from the date of (Purchaser) acceptance date detailed on the contract.
This Standard Warranty applies and is limited as follows:
1. To the property only as long as it remains in the possession of the original owner
named above. Unless otherwise noted in writing.
2. To the construction work that has not been subject to accident, misuse or abuse.
3. To the exact area where the work has been performed
4. FWD shall be immediately notified in writing within ten (10) days of first
knowledge of defect by owner or his agent.
5. FWD shall be given first opportunity to make any repairs, replacements or
corrections to the defective construction at no cost to owner within a reasonable period
of time.
6. Under no circumstances shall (FWD) be liable by virtue of this warranty or
otherwise for damage to any person or property whatsoever for any special, indirect,
secondary or consequential damages of any nature however arising out of the use or
inability to use because of the construction defect.
7. FWD is not responsible and will not be liable for any
damages caused by an act of god that would otherwise be covered under home owners
insurance.
By signing the attached (Contract) an authorized representative of (FWD) agrees that the
property belonging to (Purchaser) located at (Contract address)
in the city of (Contract City) was or will be completed as per the standards practices of
Fairlington Window and Door and agrees to warrant the project as detailed in the above terms.
This warranty is not valid unless accompanied by the original contract.
